Expert Lecture on “E-Learning Applications” Conducted at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, Ropar.

IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, Ropar successfully organized an Expert Lecture on “E-Learning Applications” under the joint aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), in collaboration with the Department of Career Guidance, Lovely Professional University. The academic event was graced by Dr. Kanav Khera, Professor, Department of Pharmacy, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, who delivered the expert lecture as the Resource Person. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Charanjit Kaur, Assistant Professor, who warmly welcomed the chief guest, faculty members and staff. During his address, Dr. Kanav Khera highlighted the emerging trends in digital education and discussed various e-learning platforms, virtual classrooms, online assessment tools and student-centric learning methodologies. He emphasized that the effective integration of modern technology can significantly enhance the quality, accessibility and engagement of education. Addressing the gathering, Dr. S. S. Bindra, Registrar-cum-Director, IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, stated that in today’s digital era, e-learning is no longer an alternative but has become an integral component of the education system. He further added that such expert lectures encourage innovation, promote technological adaptability among faculty members and strengthen their digital competencies, enabling them to remain globally competitive. Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Group Director – Academics, remarked that the primary objective of organizing the expert lecture was to acquaint faculty members with new dimensions of e-learning and to address their queries related to digital teaching–learning practices. At the conclusion of the programme, Ms. Bhawanpreet Kaur, Coordinator - IQAC, expressed a vote of thanks to the resource person, faculty members and staff. As a mark of appreciation, Dr. Kanav Khera was felicitated with a memento by the institution. Overall, the expert lecture proved to be highly informative, enriching and inspiring, contributing significantly to the academic and professional development of the participants.
