IET Bhaddal Celebrates Lohri with Joy and Enthusiasm

Rupnagar, Punjab, January 12, 2024: Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Bhaddal, a premier technical institute in Punjab, celebrated Lohri, the harvest festival of north India, with joy and enthusiasm on Friday. The students and staff gathered around a huge bonfire in the evening and offered prayers and food to the fire god. They also sang folk songs, danced to the beats of dhol, and exchanged greetings and sweets.

The Dr. S.S Bindra Campus Director of IET Bhaddal, who lit the bonfire and addressed the gathering. He congratulated the students and staff on the occasion of Lohri and wished them a prosperous and happy new year. He also appreciated the cultural diversity and harmony of the campus and urged the students to excel in academics and co-curricular activities.

The event was organized by the Cultural Committee of IET Bhaddal, the Dean of Student Welfare. He thanked the management, the faculty, and the students for their participation and cooperation.

The event was a memorable one for everyone and reflected the spirit and culture of Punjab.
