Students of I.E.T. Bhaddal Technical Campus were urged to celebrate Diwali without crackers

Today Diwali was celebrated with great pomp at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus. On this occasion, Diwali Fest "Festa Vista-2023" was organized in the campus by the college management. Chairman of IET Bhaddal Technical Campus S. Tejinder Singh started the Diwali fest by lighting the lamp. He congratulated the employees and students on the festival of Diwali and said that Diwali is the festival of lights which is the light of humanity. He inspired the students to celebrate Diwali without crackers by alerting them about the environment being polluted by firecrackers and emphasized on environment conservation. In this event, the former CEO of the organization - S. Ravinder Singh attended as special guest. He shared old memories of the college with the students and wished all the staff and students a Happy Diwali. On this occasion Director-Campus Dr. S S Bindra said that this festival is a symbol of the victory of good over falsehood and truth, adharma over religion and evil. He appealed to the students to celebrate Green Diwali to make the environment safe. After this, Bhangra, Giddha, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Skit, Rangoli, Mehndi, Deepak Decoration, Collage Making etc. competitions were conducted, in which students participated in large numbers. During this program, different types of games like lemon race, musical chair etc. were conducted for all the staff. Director-Campus Dr. SS Bindra awarded prizes to the winning students and staff members. On this occasion, apart from Principal - Pharmacy College Professor (Dr.) Jitendra Singh, Dr. Kanchan Sharman, Vishal Arora, Onkar Singh, Bhavanpreet Kaur and Hardeep Singh etc were present.
