Industrial Visit for BHMCT Students to Hotel HOLIDAY INN, ZIRAKPUR

Department of HMCT, IET BHADDAL TECHNICAL CAMPUS, ROPAR organized an Industrial Visit for BHMCT Students.

The Department of Hotel Management organized an industrial visit to luxurious Hotel HOLIDAY INN, ZIRAKPUR, CHANDIGARH for BHMCT students . Students got an opportunity to learn about the real industry in real-time, regards to the entire operations of the hotel e.g. front office, housekeeping, food & beverage service, food production, HR, Accounts, and IT department and many more sub-departments.

Students interacted with the staff of the hotel and asked about the Operating System of the hotel and learned about numerous tasks which were being performed by the staff.

The main objective of the visit was to provide the students an insight regarding various industrial processes.

The hospitality industry growing up rapidly day by day and creating huge numbers of job opportunities and healthy salary scales and setting up a luxurious lifestyle for hospitality personnel.

The industrial visit was organised under the guidance of Dr. Kanchan Sharma (Officiating Principal- HMCT Dept.) and supported by Mr. Parwinder Singh (A.P- HMCT) and Ms. Sukprit Kaur(A.P-HMCT).

On the occasion of event, Director Campus S S Bindra congratulate the entire HMCT team for such innovative approach & asked them to explore more such events in future.
