Bhaddal, August 11, 2024 – The campus of IET Bhaddal came alive with vibrant colors and festive spirits as students, faculty, and staff celebrated the traditional festival of Teej with great enthusiasm. The event, held on 10/Aug/2024, showcased the rich cultural heritage of Punjab and provided a platform for students to engage in various cultural activities.

The celebrations began with a traditional welcome, where participants were greeted with colorful bangles, flowers, and mehndi (henna) designs. The event featured a series of cultural performances, including folk dances, singing, and skits, all centered around the theme of Teej. Students dressed in traditional Punjabi attire added to the festive atmosphere, making the event a visual delight.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Gidda performances by the students, which were met with loud applause and cheers from the audience. The performances not only highlighted the traditional dance forms of Punjab but also encouraged students to embrace and appreciate their cultural roots.

In addition to the cultural performances, various stalls were set up, offering traditional Punjabi cuisine, games, and handicrafts. The Mehndi stall, in particular, was a major attraction, with students lining up to get intricate henna designs on their hands.
